Our Story
My name is Kaki, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a daisy girl.
Daisies have followed me through every season of life—from my wedding flowers to my first business and the bouquets I would leave for clients simply to brighten their week. To me, they represent joy, resilience, simplicity, and the quiet beauty that helps people feel at home.
The name Kaki has a story of its own.
I was born Margaret Kathleen, carrying the names of both of my grandmothers as the first grandchild in the family. But shortly after I came home from the hospital, a family friend looked at me and declared, “Her name is Kaki.” Inspired by my father’s military khakis, the nickname stuck, and it has been part of my identity ever since.
My father was my anchor, my greatest teacher, and one of the strongest influences in my life. A Marine, entrepreneur, and visionary, he taught me the value of independence, perseverance, and caring deeply for the people around me. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs and engineers on my father’s side of the family, and their spirit of innovation, creativity, and determination continues to inspire me today.
My father’s business was called The Sand Dollar, and over the years the sand dollar became much more than a name. It became a symbol of foundation, connection, and life’s ripple effect. Today, sand dollars can be found throughout my garden and the spaces I create, serving as gentle reminders that even the smallest acts of kindness, creativity, and service can create waves far beyond what we can see.
Over the years, life has taught me that every person carries a story, and that healing often begins when we feel seen, heard, welcomed, and connected. That belief became the inspiration behind PEACEN® and the work I continue to create through KAKIFY.
I believe peace is not something we find someday. It is something we practice in small moments—in meaningful conversations, beautiful spaces, shared experiences, music, creativity, nature, and community.
This platform was created as a gathering place for those moments.

The Peacen daisy is formed from eight open-ended infinity symbols surrounding a shared center.
Each infinity represents connection, possibility, and the unique contribution every person brings to the world. Because the loops remain open, the design symbolizes growth, expansion, and the belief that there is always room for another voice, another idea, another act of kindness, and another meaningful connection.
Together, the infinities form a single flower – a reminder that when individual pieces come together with good intentions, something beautiful can bloom.
